French Crash Course: A No-BS, Seven Day Guide to Learning Basic French.This is a great book for the person wanting to learn a little French in a quick fun way. What I love most about this book is the introduction. I love how the author says "There is now way you can learn French in just seven days" and goes on to explain the mission of this book. The audio helps a great deal with the pronunciation of the words. Also the exercises with the mouth and vocal chords along with the pronunciation tactics. I also enjoyed the references to various French movies, music and artist. They help to gain a better understanding of not just the language but the culture as well. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn the basics of French. I must say I really enjoyed the eBook. It is jam packed with information about the French language. I have been looking for a cheaper way to learn French and this book has been really helpful for me. My French is at a basic level, I'd say beginner to moderate understanding. It was easy to download the audio portion to my iPhone and from there I just read and listened to the mp3 pausing in between. One of my favorite parts of the eBook was the section after each chapter with suggestions on movies, music, and food in French. I thought that was really fascinating and engaging. Overall the tone of the book is very casual like a close friend is teaching you French. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to learn as much as possible about French before they go traveling or just anyone interested in getting a good head start on the language. The only suggestion I would make is to turn it into a full audio book. Also I would like it if the French word is said at a normal speed then more slowly for better comprehension.
